Meeting the available cats up for adoption or fostering with Hastings Cat Lovers is a heartwarming experience. Our charity is dedicated to finding loving homes for these wonderful feline companions.
From playful kittens to wise senior cats, they all have one thing in common – the desire to be a part of a caring and compassionate family.
Meeting these cats is a chance to connect with a potential lifelong friend and make a positive difference in their lives. Eddie
Age: 2yrs | Sex: Male | Breed: Moggy
LOOKING FOR A LONG TERM FOSTER HOME
Eddie has grown into a big, beautiful, bumbling mini black panther! He is adorable in many ways but cannot live with other cats as he tends to be a bit of a bully to some. He is playful & affectionate & is happy to spend time on his own. We are looking for a long term Foster home for Eddie. He will be classed as a 'Supported Cat' which means HCL will be paying for food, litter, Vet fees, flea & worm treatment. He would like a home with an enclosed garden & a catflap away from busy roads. Someone who is home part of the time would be wonderful. He could possibly live with a cat trained dog but no other cats or children.

Malty
Malty came into rescue with Skittles and Tinkerbell under sad circumstances.
He is very handsome with a lovely personality.
He has a stubby tail as we have been told his mother (Skittles) bit it off at birth by accident.
Malty is so sweet. He stands up on his back legs and does a twirl when he wants a stroke. Malty, of course, live with other cats but we would feel better off on his own or with Tinkerbell, his family.
He has not been tested with dogs or small children.
We are looking for a home AWAY from busy roads with an enclosed garden.
NOW IN SUPPORTED FOSTER CARE
Skittles came into HCL with her daughter & nephew under sad circumstances.
She is a friendly cat with quite a strong character & wont take nonsense.
It wont take her long for you to gain her trust but as she has been moved twice,
she may be a bit wary to start with.
She can live with another cat but has not been tested with young children or dogs.

Skittles

Tinkerbell is Skittles daughter and came into rescue with Skittles and Malty under sad circumstances.
Tinkerbell (or Tinks) has an endearing personality & quite chatty when you get to know her.
She can be adopted with Malty as they get on very well together.
Tinkerbell has not been tested with dogs or young children.
We are looking for a home AWAY from the busy roads with an enclosed garden.

Finn
Finn is living in an HCL Foster home. Here are a few words from his Foster carer Lesley "Finn is a fun loving boy who loves to play ball ( little sponge ones) .likes to be up high , on top of the kitchen cupboards. Spends a lot of time bird watching and chatting to them. Has also started talking to me. He is a loving boy who can be stubborn. A very gentle soul and no sign of aggression."
Finn is currently living as a house cat but we feel he would benefit from a home where he can have access to a small, enclosed outdoor space away from busy roads. We would like Finn to be the only cat in the house, no dogs but can live with children over 10.

Felix
Age: 9-11mo. | Sex: Female/Male | Breed: Moggy
Felix is Very unusual in that he is a hermaphrodite so has both male & female organs.
He is friendly & loving & has a cute teddybear face. Felix is currently not up for adoption, but any donations towards him would be greatly appreciated.
He loves my Horace Yorkie & often follows him around & cuddles up to him. He also loves food & treats!

Hazel
Hazel came into Rescue with her siser Harriet. They lived in a top floor flat and their human didn't think it as fair on them apart from the fact this was in an extremely busy road and both these girls are little ninjas! You need an olympic athlete to be able to catch them if they do a runner. I love these 2 kitties! I call them the Dinky Dots! Hazel is friendly, loving and fiesty all rolled into one.
We are looking to rehome the sisters together in a home with an enclosed garden AWAY from busy roads.
